Travel | Day-tripping Baguio

Good Morning Baguio!

Victory Liner Cubao - Bus Terminal offers overnight trips to Baguio. We tried the First Class bus to see the difference from the regular buses.
Deluxe Bus advantages - airplane style seats, legroom, free snacks, free wifi, on-board toilet. super cool!

We arrived in Baguio around 4am. and damn it's cold, like really really cold. As soon as I stepped out the bus, I was shivering! We were still groggy and it was still pitch dark outside so we stayed at the terminal until the sun came out.

Fun note: we have no idea how to go around the place so we trusted our instincts XD

We walked outside the terminal to see where to go at 630 am.
We wanted to go to Burnham Park first so we asked around and trusted the road signs.
YES we walked from the terminal to Burnham Park
The lake at Burnham Park
Baguio must try - Strawberry Taho (sweetened tofu yogurt)
Boat rides!
One of the reasons why I wanted to visit this park
It's not that hard actually, all you need is good left and right coordination.
(which we don't have at time, so we end up rowing in circles)

Near the spot where we ate is a souvenir vendor selling this small wooden keychains and other handmade stuff. Travel must do - get at least a small token from where you went, it will serve as an instant memory trigger, to remember those fun times!

After our short break, we wanted to move on to another tourist spot.
We rode the cab to Mines View Park.

The cab driver was so nice, he gave us an instant tour! We knew then that there are other places to check out nearby like the Mansion and Botanical Garden.
*fun note - local cabs leave their windows open. Baguio is rich in fresh air and is really cold, you wont need any air-conditioning at all!

when we got there, we noticed these horses! It's just 10pesos(approx 25cents on USD) per photo

Giidy-yup my noble steed!
Mr. Horsey didn't giddy-yup though haha

Enjoyed the view and took a few pictures and some souvenir shopping, we went to our last stop -

The Botanical Gardens

Everything written in this post happened in one morning!
crazy are we not?

'til next trip
